Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

Welcome to PlayToday. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and PlayToday ("PlayToday," "we," "us") that govern your access to and use of the PlayToday mobile application, the website at playtoday.com, and the related services (together, the "Service").

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

To use PlayToday, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your country of residence
• Not be barred from using the Service under applicable law or under a previous suspension from PlayToday

If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use PlayToday with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Your account

Account creation

You must provide accurate and complete information when you sign up (name, email, phone number, and any other required details) and keep that information up to date. You may only have one account.

Account security

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your password confidential and notify us promptly at team.playToday@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

Player and Stadium Owner roles

PlayToday supports two account types: Players, who book and join games, and Stadium Owners, who list venues and manage reservations. Some sections of these Terms apply only to one role — they are labelled where relevant.

4. Bookings, games, and reservations

For Players

• When you create or join a game or reservation, you commit to showing up at the time and venue indicated.
• Cancellation and no-show policies are set by the stadium owner for each venue. Repeated no-shows may result in restrictions on your account.
• Any payment, refund, or dispute relating to a specific reservation is between you and the stadium owner. PlayToday facilitates the booking but is not a party to that contract.

For Stadium Owners

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you list about your venue (location, pricing, availability, facilities) and for honouring confirmed reservations.
• You must comply with all laws applicable to operating your venue, including safety, insurance, tax, and accessibility obligations.
• You set your own cancellation policy and are responsible for communicating it clearly to players who book your venue.

5. Acceptable use

When using PlayToday, you agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
• Harass, threaten, impersonate, or otherwise mistreat other users or stadium staff
• Post or share content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or parts of the Service you are not authorised to access
• Probe, scan, scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure
• Use the Service to send spam, malware, or unsolicited commercial communications
• Create fake accounts or use automated means to interact with the Service without our prior written permission

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to PlayToday — your profile details, avatar, messages, and similar material ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant PlayToday a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display it solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

You are responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the rights necessary to submit it and grant the licence above. We may remove content that we believe violates these Terms or applicable law.

7. Fees

Access to the core PlayToday Service is currently free for players. Stadium owners and players may incur charges for specific reservations or premium features — those charges, their refund terms, and any applicable taxes will be disclosed before you are asked to confirm payment. If we introduce new paid features in the future, we will give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to review the pricing before they apply to you.

8. Intellectual property

PlayToday, including the app, website, logo, design, and underlying software, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

9. Third-party services

PlayToday may integrate with or link to third-party services (for example, maps providers or payment processors). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

PlayToday is a platform that connects players with stadium owners. We do not own, operate, or control the venues listed on the Service, and we are not responsible for the condition, safety, or legality of those venues or for the conduct of any user.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlayToday and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to PlayToday in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 100.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PlayToday and its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using PlayToday and delete your account at any time from within the app or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, created risk for other users, or if we are required to do so by law.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — such as ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will continue to apply after your account ends.

14. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may change, add, or remove features of the Service from time to time. We may also update these Terms. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and PlayToday agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tripoli, Lebanon for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
